Port Blair, Nov. 8: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has highlighted some of the crucial issues of Little Andaman with the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

Issues raised by the Member of Parliament are to accord availability of sea sand, opening of stone quarry and mooram quarry, re-opening and functioning of red oil palm plantation and one clerk in Hutbay Tehsil, re-installation of hand-sawing machine and up-gradation of PHC to CHC.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament requested to take up these issues on priority with the concerned authorities and to find an immediate redressal by issuing instructions to carry out appropriate developmental works for the upliftment of the people of Little Andaman.
