Port Blair, Nov. 10: The Membership Drive for Indian Youth Congress (IYC) for Andaman Nicobar Islands was launched yesterday on 09th November 2022 at the Congress Party Office, Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair.
Shri. Peer Irshad Ahmed Nasir, the Chief Election Authority, Shri. Ankit Singhai, the In-charge of A&N Islands Youth Congress and Shri. Burolla Narsimha Reddy, the Pradesh Returning Officer (PRO) addressed the Press Conference and explained the salient features of the election process.
The Nomination for the election will start from 11th November 2022 and will end on the 17th November 2022. The Membership Drive will begin on 26th November 2022 and will end on the 25th December 2022. The Membership Drive will be in an online process and anybody who is between the ages of 18-35 years will be eligible to become a member.
The meeting was also addressed by the PCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and by the Member of Parliament Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma. The Membership Drive will help in mobilizing the youths from all over the A&N Islands and working for the betterment of youths of these Islands and for their better future.
