Kolkata, Jan 12: A workshop on development of sustainable and responsible tourist destinations was organised by Ministry of Tourism at hotel Taj in Kolkata on 11th January 2023.
A delegation from A&N Islands comprising stakeholders Shri. M. Vinod, President AATO, Shri. Saikat Biswas, Andaman Adventure Water Sports Association and representatives of IP&T Smt. Kanak Radha Chatterjee and Shri. Anil participated in the seminar.
As per Shri. Vinod, the seminar was a huge success in imparting knowledge on sustainable tourism from industry leaders and senior officials from Ministry of Tourism.
Smt. Kanak and Shri. Vinod also presented a detailed presentation on sustainable measures adopted by tourism stakeholders to promote tourism in A&N Islands.
