Port Blair, March 2: The Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, in collaboration with SPIC MACAY, Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst the Youth, is organizing cultural programmes under the umbrella of ‘Shruti Amrut’ as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ across the country. ‘Shruti Amrut’ festival is a minimum of 02 days long festival with Indian Classical Music and dance and Folk art forms from across the Country.

‘Shruti Amrut’ festival will be organized by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with SPIC MACAY and Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration at Dr B R Ambedkar Auditorium, Dollygunj, Port Blair on March 4 & 5, 2023. On March 4, Baul Singer and Painter Parvathy Baul and Sattriya Dancer Anwesa Mahanta will give their performances. On March 5, Bharatnatyam Dancer, Ms Alarmel Valli will perform. Hindustani Classical Music Vocalist, Ms Ashwani Bhide-Deshpande will also present her renditions on March 5, 2023.

People have been requested to witness the performances of these renowned artistes at DBRAIT Auditorium on Mar 4 & 5, 2023 from 4 pm onwards.
