Diglipur, April 14: The ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker and Chairman, Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey on Thursday visited the far flung area of Ram Nagar in Diglipur to take stock of the grievances of villagers and for their redressal in a time bound manner.

The villagers belonging to the Chota Nagpuri Adivasis community (Ranchi Community) gave a rousing welcome to Congress leaders on their arrival to the village as per their traditional culture. The meeting was organized under the leadership of Retired Police Officer and active social worker Mr. Alias Toppo.

During his meeting, the villagers apprised Congress leaders about the problems being faced by the people in the locality. They highlighted the issues and demands related to road connectivity, shortage of water etc.

The Congress leaders listened to the demands of villagers patiently and assured people for the early redressal by highlighting their demands at appropriate platforms. They also asked the people to strengthen the party at grass root level.

Zilla Parishad Member, Sitanagar Mr. Niranjan Hawlader, Ex-Block President, Kalighat Mr. Rajhiv Chander, Panchayat Samiti Member, Diglipur Mr. K. Karupaiah, Ex-BCC General Secretary Mr. Asit Bain and many other local leaders were present on the occasion.
