Port Blair, April 16: A two-day workshop on Madhubani Art and Craft Activity for children was organised at Bageecha – an initiative of Andaman Chronicle on 15th and 16th April 2023. The workshop was led by Smti Neha Bajaj, Fevicryl certified artist. The workshop saw an overwhelming response with more than 30 school children participating and learning the art from.

Neha Bajaj sharing her experience after the workshop said that she’s happy with the overwhelming response and also that she was able to impart her knowledge to the children. Neha said that she will also be planning for a longer duration workshop and camp at Bageecha during the summer vacations, the schedule of which will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, the Editor of Andaman Chronicle, Shri Denis Giles has expressed his happiness over the conduct of the workshop at Bageecha, benefitting a large number of students. Andaman Chronicle has invited creative people to come forward to organise such workshops/ activities at Bageecha for the benefit of the society.
