Port Blair, April 24: An All Party meeting was held on 24^th April 2023 at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair to discuss about the protest scheduled on 28^th April, 2023 at Tiranga Park. The meeting was chaired by ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman, Shri. TSG Bhasker in the presence of Minority Department Observer for A&N Islands Dr. Jani Javed. The meeting witnessed active participation of leaders from different political parties.

Halder and Bhasker sought the cooperation and support of all leaders in the protest scheduled on 28^th April.

Brief interventions were made by Senior Congress Leader, Shri. Hamid Ali, Mahila, Congress South Andaman Coordinator, Smt. Zubaida Begum, Senior Congress leader, Shri. A.R Manickam, CPIM State Secretary, Shri. D. Ayyappan, DMK State Organizer, Shri. A.L Kulandai, Samajwadi Party State President, Shri. Asghar Ali, RJD State President, Shri. M. Dhanasekaran, RJD General Secretary, Shri. Abdul Majeed and ANJP State President, Shri. Venkat Ram Babu.

The political leaders shared their valuable insights on Rahul Gandhi's disqualification issue and Modi Governments arbitrary actions.

All party leaders unanimously decided to support the Congress Party in the protest scheduled on 28^th April against Rahul Gandhi's disqualification issue.

The meeting was also attended by City Congress President Shri. Mohd. Zubair, NSUI State President Shri. M.A Sajid, DCC Member Shri. Abdul Sabir and Ex-Youth Congress Secretary Shri. Shadab Riaz.
