Port Blair, April 25: The students from various Higher Educational Institutions of A & N Islands were accorded a warm welcome by faculty in charge as well as the students on their arrival at NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The Andaman & Nicobar Islands team paired with Jharkhand for cultural and heritage exchange programme titled ‘Yuva Sangam’ under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharath (EBSB) reached Jharkhand today to take part in the 6 days event. 

Meanwhile, as part of the event, an orientation programme was organised in the Diamond Jubilee Lecture Hall Complex of the Institute. The student centric event commenced in the august presence of the Director of the Institute, Prof. K.K Shukla, SSP, Jamshedpur, Shri Prabhat Kumar and Pr. Commissioner, Income Tax, Jamshedpur, Shri Shishir Dhamija. They also delivered speeches and enlightened the young minds gathered in the Lecture Hall.

During the orientation session, students exchanged their thoughts and ideas. They were also guided about the upcoming events for the next 6 days.
