Port Blair, May 10: As per Meteorological Department’s weather report, heavy to very heavy rain (07-20 cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands. Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands and thundersquall (wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on May 11. Due to the formation of Deep depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal and very likely intensification of the system into a cyclonic storm, fishermen of Andaman & Nicobar coasts have been advised not to venture into the sea till May 13.
