Port Blari, Sept. 10: It is a proud moment for islanders as Roshan Senthil Kumar, a young chess player from Port Blair has brought laurels to A & N Islands by becoming the first Chess Player from Andaman & Nicobar Islands to achieve International Title by World Chess Federation.

ACM Roshan Senthil Kumar, a class VII student of NCS Port Blair has achieved Arena Candidate Master (ACM) Title today by the World Chess Federation for his outstanding performance in the FIDE Online Arena (FOA). The FIDE Online Arena is the official International Chess Federation (FIDE) Gaming Platform.

Arena Candidate Master (ACM) is achieved by a series of 150 bullet games, 100 blitz games or 50 rapid online games with a performance rating of over 1100 and the title will be valid for life time however acquirement of a higher title replaces any title reference of a lower status.
