Port Blair, Nov. 2: On 02nd November 2023, the A&N Police organized a Cyber Awareness Session on the Investigation of Financial Fraud & Cyber Crime in a hybrid mode as part of the 'Cyber Guruvar' initiative, held every Thursday by the Cyber Cell of A&N Police. In this training officers from the rank of constable to DySP of A&N Police participated.
This comprehensive session, hosted at the Cyber Cell, brought together A&N Police officers for presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities. The event's objective was to enhance the officers' knowledge and expertise in dealing with cyber-related financial fraud. During the session, officers gained insights into various types of financial crimes and learned investigation techniques to strengthen their ability to combat cyber-related financial crimes.
Earlier two more such training sessions were conducted with senior officers of the A&N Police, during which experts from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), MHA, delivered lectures, acquainting them with ongoing cybercrime trends and the preventive measures associated with them.
