Port Blair, June 24: The 75^th Van Mahotsav will be observed in these Islands from 1st July to 31st July, 2024 by the Department of Environment & Forests. On the occasion, saplings from the Nurseries of Forest Extension and Publicity Division shall be distributed free of cost. Further, planting activity at secured/ fenced areas/ land shall also be undertaken. Interested Departments/ Organization/ Community etc., who have secured/ fenced areas/ land under their control may call/ intimate the Range Office, FE&P Range, Haddo over phone no. 03192-245324 or in person on any working days from 0700 hrs to 1400 hrs for planting purpose. The planting shall be undertaken only after inspection of the land/ site by the concerned personnel.
