During this downtime, booking/cancellation of bus tickets will remain suspended.

Port Blair, Dec. 14: The vessel MV Swaraj Dweep will sail from Port Blair to Vizag on Dec.16, 2023 at 1000 hrs. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Dec.15, 2023. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 0800 hrs on Dec.16. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.

It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that due to urgent maintenance of Bambooflat Sub-Station and to line clearance & pruning of dangerous trees standing Panther-I and Panther-II Tie Line at Bambooflat, the power supply will interrupted in Port Blair and South Andaman area on 16.12.2023, between 0800 hrs. and 1100 hrs. on as and when required basis. Ed), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing - B.SCN(PB), Ph. D, session commencing from January 2024, through an entrance test scheduled for Sunday, 07th January 2024.

Prayagraj / Port Blair, Dec. 13: Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind has expressed serious concern over spreading of micron size plastic particles which are destroying the lives of creatures, plants and humans. Referring to the findings by internationally acclaimed scientist Padmashree Dr. Ajai Kmar Sonkar, the Former President on Dec. 11, 2023 in a formal message wrote:
“This morning I met Padmashree awarded internationally renowned scientist Dr. Ajai Kumar Sonkar, he gave me detailed information about his recent research and studies, and also presented me copies of his scientific discoveries published in various international science reports. I have witnessed Dr. Ajai’s significant cientific achievements since 2004”.
