Port Blair, Jan 7: CPI (M) Port Blair Area Committee has carried out door-to-door campaign and corner meetings at Dairy Farm, Ranchi Basthi, Garacharma and Bathubasthi areas on 28th, 29th and 30th December, 2023, 2nd and 4th, January, 2024. Various burning issues like (i) frequent power cut, (ii) sky-rocketing price rise (iii) growing unemployment, (iv) corruption, (v) non-availability of stone chips, metals, (vi) deplorable condition of urban roads, etc. were highlighted during the campaign and corner meetings.    

Port Blair, Jan 5: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to construct changing rooms and toilet blocks at Shoal Bay-19 beach for the convenience of visitors.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament mentioned that the Shoal Bay-19 Beach is gaining huge popularity among the residents of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

He added that on holidays and weekends, a large number of residents visit Shoal Bay-19 Beach to enjoy nature and spend their leisure time.
