Port Blair, June 6: As per Meteorological Department’s Weather Report, heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on June 7, 8 & 9. Due to strong Southwest monsoon current, wind speed is likely to prevail between 40-50 kmph over Andaman Sea. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the Sea till June 10.

The first chance examinations were held in the month of March 2023 and the second chance (Last Chance) examinations is scheduled to be held in the month of June/July 2023 for the UG (Arts /Commerce & Science) students who were admitted from the Academic Year 2006-2007 to 2015-16. The desirous registering students of MGGC have to pay a fee of Rs 3000/- as Registration fee and Rs.1000 as fee for each Theory/Practical paper. Port Blair, June 6: The vessel MV Nalanda will sail from Port Blair to Vizag on 07.06.2023 at 1600 hrs. Excess baggage will be loaded from 0600Hrs to 0800 Hrs on 07.06.2023. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 1200 Hrs on 07.06.2023. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel. The vessel will sail only after completion of survey procedure which will commence on completion of embarkation of passengers for issuance of ‘B’ Certificate as per MS Act.
