I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of many precious lives and the injuries in the train accident in the State of Odisha.

It is with great sorrow that we mourn the loss of approximately 260 precious lives. Their untimely departure is an immense tragedy that has left our hearts heavy with grief.

I stand in solidarity with the affected families during this immensely difficult time, and I offer my sincerest sympathies. May they find solace and strength to bear this unbearable sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this profound loss.

Pot Blair, June 3: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Defence Minister of India to conduct the MILAN event of the Indian Navy in Andaman & Nicobar Islands once in six years.

In a letter addressed to the Defence Minister the Member of Parliament mentioned that the MILAN exercise, a biennial multilateral naval exercise was initiated by the Indian Navy in 1995 in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Port Blair, June 3: The Andaman & Nicobar Muaythai team has won 9 medals in the Muaythai nationals held in Chennai from 25 to 30 May.  The Islands’ team won one gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze. More than 1000 athletes from across 28 states of the country had competed in the event.
