Sri Vijaya Puram, April 11: The ongoing Free Prosthetic & Orthotic Camp at the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, has entered its second day with growing participation and impactful interventions. This five-day initiative being held from 10th to 14th April, 2025, is being organized in collaboration with Rotary Club, Sri Vijaya Puram, Mahaveer Seva Sadan, Kolkata and Composite Regional Centre (CRC), A&N Islands.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 11: ICDS Project, Ferrargunj under the Directorate of Social Welfare observed the 4th Day of 7th POSHAN Pakhwada 2025. The Poshan Pakhwada focused on the First Golden 1000 days of life, outreach activities on popularization of beneficiary module in POSHAN tracker and demonstration sessions on energy dense food including millet were carried out at all Anganwadi Centres under ICDS Ferrargunj.

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 11: The Directorate of Social Welfare, under the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ (NMBA) and as part of the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), organized a comprehensive awareness program on ‘Ill Effects of Alcohol and Drug Abuse’ yesterday at Ferrargunj, Gram Panchayat, South Andaman in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Health Department, Police Department, and Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA), South Andaman. The initiative aimed to educate the local population on the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote a united effort in building a healthy, drug-free society.
