Port Blair, Oct. 3: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary to supply adequate quantity of fertilizers to all farmers of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament said that the quantity of fertilizer supplied to them, is grossly insufficient.

True Vision Foundation NGO as a part of 'Azaad ka Amrit Mahotsav' and marking the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi conducted a beach clean-up drive in collaboration with Department of Rural Development at Collinpur beach. The drive was participated by Shri Mohammad Yunus, Extension Officer, Rural Development.
