Port Blair, Oct. 17: On the basis of written examination held on 27.06.2019 for the post of Driver (LMV), the merit list was uploaded on 13.09.2023 in the Departmental & Administration website. In this regard, a revised list of candidates shortlisted to appear for trade test for the post of Driver(LMV) will be uploaded on 18/10/2023 in the website of Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services https://www.ahvs.andaman.gov.in and website of Andaman & Nicobar Administration www.andaman.gov.in. Further correspondence regarding date, time & venue of trade test will be intimated in due course.

Electricity consumers and general public have been informed that power supply will remain suspended on Oct. 18 from 8 am to 2 pm to create safe corridor for electricity feeders and tie lines. The Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees from Corbyn’s Cove junction to Goodwill Estate upto Judges Bungalow, part of Shiv Colony Dollygunj, part of Lamba Line, part of Ranchi Basti and part of School Line.

Port Blair, Oct. 17: As per the revised schedule for admission in Two Years B.Ed. Degree Programme in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair, the provisional list of all candidates who have applied admission to this programme will be published on 19/10/2023.
Claims and objections if any can be filed up to 23rd October 2023, in person during working hours with valid supporting documents. After attending claims and objections, final merit list will be published on 25th October 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The counseling for admission to this course shall be held on 26th October 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in Tagore Auditorium, TGCE.

This is applicable for all the States and UTs. In this connection, all stakeholders who are maintaining Dairy Farms and Gaushalas in Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been requested to implement the revised guidelines. Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of R. Rakkammal, aged 88 Years, Mother of R. Vetrivel (Secretary Quarry Union) and mother of Kalaiarasi RCS Group, R/o Bhatubasti, who left for heavenly abode on 17-10-2023. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to her bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
