Port Blair, Feb 13: A Delegation of Tourism Stakeholders from A&N Islands Participated in the 30th edition of SATTE (South Asia's Travel & Tourism Expo) proved to be the largest ever, with over 50 tourism boards in attendance and over 600 hosted buyers and which received more than 25,000 visitors in the span of three days (February 9-11, 2023) from 120 cities and towns of India.

Port Blair, Feb 13: The Director (Disaster Management), Dr. Nitin Shakya, reviewed the fire/life safety measures and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of cinema theatres of Port Blair for strengthening safety measures of the audience in the Cinema Theatres which was held in his chamber on Feb.1, 2023 with the representatives of Cinema Theatres of ANI and Officers of NDRF, A&N Police, A&N Police Fire Services and Health Department.

Port Blair, Feb 14: A multi-specialty health camp was organised in ograbraj community hall by ANIIMS and DHS in collaboration with National Medicos Organisation (NMO) and Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR) which was supported by Gram Panchayat, Mithakari.
Doctors namely, Dr. MLB Bhatt (Akhil Bhartiya Baudhik Pramukh, NMO), Dr. R.K HALDER, Dermatologist,Dr. Priyanka Yadav, General Medicine, Dr. Lakshay Beri, General Medicine, Dr. Rajeev Ghosh, Mental Health, Dr. Deepti Kude, Gynaecologist, Dr. Sanjeev, Dentist and Pradeep Singh (Optometrist) provided their services by which 131 local residents of the area were benefited.

Kavitha Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) alongwith Shri Aziz Ur Rahman, Senior Vice Chairperson, PBMC called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas. Discussed various projects being implemented through PBMC in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Port Blair, Feb 13: The Bharat Scouts & Guides Wing of Wimberlygunj Educational Zone conducted three days Beginners Course for Cub Masters, Scout Masters, Flock Leaders & Guide Captains from Feb.7 to 9, 2023 at Govt. Middle School, Kanyapuram. Altogether, 56 Teachers attended this course. Shri Gyan Sheel Dubey, District Chief Commissioner, BS&G/DEO, Wimberlygunj was the chief guest while Shri V Ranjit Kumar, AD (Sports) of Wimberlygunj Educational Zone was the guest of honour. All the syllabus of Scouts & Guides were discussed during these three days course.
