Port Blair, May 6: Heavy rainfall (7-11 cm) likely to occur at many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands while very heavy rainfall (12-20 cm) likely over one or two places in A&N Islands on 8th and 9th May 2022.

Port Blair, May 6: In the wake of IMD warning about the formation of low pressure area over South East Bay of Bengal and its likely intensification into depression and further into a cyclonic storm, all the Water Sports activities in A&N Islands shall remain suspended on 7th to 8th May, 2022.

Port Blair, May 6: Due to prevailing adverse weather conditions, the Directorate of Shipping Services keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel, suspends/ cancels the following announced schedule in respect of Inter Island/ Foreshore Sector:-

Port Blair, May 6: The Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, BMS had planned to organize a Mass Protest Rally on 07.05.2022 from State BMS Office, Near Krishna Mandir, Junglighat at 3.00 PM to Tiranga Park. The protest has now been postponed due to the IMD warning on inclement weather forecast. Fresh dates will be declared later on.
