Port Blair, May 22: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 294 incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Seventeen flights with 2925 passengers arrived in A&N Islands today, out of which, 2545 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 340 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Neeraj Thakur, Director General of Police and discussed various issues pertaining to Police in general and media in particular. During the interaction with DGP, the media persons requested the DG Police for designating a Police PRO for clarifying doubts and queries raised by the local Journalists on a time to time basis on Police related issues.

Member of Parliament Demands Immediate Repair all Three DG Sets of Katchal Island

Port Blair, May 20: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to send necessary spare parts and technicians to Katchal Island to repair atleast one DG set as soon as possible followed by another two DG sets to bring some relief for people of Katchal Island.

Port Blair, May 20: The 10th National School Chess Championship 2022 which began on 16th May 2022 at KIIT University Campus, Patia Bhubaneswar, Odisha concluded today evening successfully.

Altogether 1003 players from various school across India participated in the prestigious event in which 14 players from different schools of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have participated and done reasonably well.
