Port Blair, Jan 21: Former State President BJP-A&N Islands, Shri Vishal Jolly has expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi and Union Govt. for releasing funds to UT Administration for a road project from Chunna Bhatta to North Bay tourist spot and the same has been sanctioned and approved by the Andaman & Nicobar Administration costing Rs. 27 Crores.

Port Blair, Jan 21: In response to the meeting held with few tourism stakeholders of Port Blair on 21st January 2022, Mr. V.K Abdul Aziz, District Congress Committee President, South Andaman wrote a letter to the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration and requested him to consider reopening tourism activities in the Islands for sustaining the Island's economy and giving hope to myriads of stakeholders working in this sector.

Port Blair, Jan 21: The Flying Enforcement team constituted in all Tehsils of South Andaman District by the District Magistrate comprising of Revenue and Police officials imposed fines for violation of COVID protocols and not following proper guidelines such as wearing of face mask and not maintaining social distance in premises of all Market areas of South Andaman including Little Andaman, Swaraj Dweep and Shaheed Dweep under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South Andaman.
