Port Blair, Sept. 30: The Town Vending Committee (TVC), Port Blair Municipal Council has informed the registered street Vendors of Port Blair City to comply with the provisions contained under the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulations of Street Vending) Act, 2014. It has warned the unauthorized street vendors at NO VENDING ZONES and without possession of Certificate of Vending to refrain from unauthorized vending activity in violation the provisions of the Street Vendors Act.

On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all senior citizens of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Port Blair, Sept. 30: A total of 4,421,80 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in the islands out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,70,743 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 1276 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Sept. 30: Keeping in view, the increased passenger traffic, the Directorate of Shipping Services in consultation with District Administration has planned to deploy bigger vessel MV Coral Queen to Swaraj Dweep from 1st October to 4th October 2021.

Member of Parliament Requests Immediate Repair of Roads to Bring Relief for Islanders

Port Blair, Sept. 29: The Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar Administration to take immediate measures to repair the roads so that it brings some relief to the people of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary the Member of Parliament mentioned that the condition of the roads in these Islands is becoming worse since last one year.
