Port Blair, Sept. 19: As per data made available, a total of 4,11,782 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,62,753 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date.

New Delhi, Sept 16: India's apex Hospitality Association - Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has submitted a representation to the Hon’ble Home Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs – Shri Amit Shah requesting his urgent intervention in implementing the judgement passed by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for the State of Goa and Union Territories (UT) with respect to charging of electricity tariff at industrial rates for hotels in the UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Shri Vishal Jolly, Former State President, BJP A & N Islands has condole the demise of Shri Laxmi Narayan alias Kuku residence of Aberdeen Bazaar (Laxmi Narayan Mandir) near clock tower aged 63 years who expired today at GB  Pant Hospital at 08.30 am.
