Port Blair, Sept. 14: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma today visited felicitated the MSS team for their selfless service during the major fire accident that was reported at Prothrapur on 9th Sept. 2020. The fire was so huge that the A&N Fire Services in spite of all attempts had ran short of man and materials to overpower. The timely intervention of local youth volunteers with the support of MSS Water Suppliers came as a blessing in disguise especially when it came to stopping the fire from spreading to the residential areas attached to the fire accident site (Andaman Pencil Wood Works).

During this official tour Shri. Port Blair, Sept. 14: Islands 'TANG SOO DO' (KOREAN KARATE) teams participated in 1st VIRTUAL ITO ASIAN TANG SOO DO CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 scheduled on 29th and 30th August 2020 under the Guidance of Coach Master M.D. Selvam. From India, 54 students were selected for and out of them, one of the participant is Kulvinder Kaur Randhawa who won Gold in Under-18 Girls Junior category in the weapon event, which is 'Bong Hyung Cho Dan'.
