Port Blair, Oct. 17: As per the revised schedule for admission in Two Years B.Ed. Degree Programme in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair, the provisional list of all candidates who have applied admission to this programme will be published on 19/10/2023.

Claims and objections if any can be filed up to 23rd October 2023, in person during working hours with valid supporting documents. After attending claims and objections, final merit list will be published on 25th October 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The counseling for admission to this course shall be held on 26th October 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in Tagore Auditorium, TGCE.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of R. Rakkammal, aged 88 Years, Mother of R. Vetrivel (Secretary Quarry Union) and mother of Kalaiarasi RCS Group, R/o Bhatubasti, who left for heavenly abode on 17-10-2023. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to her bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Oct. 16: On the basis of select list of 530 Group ‘C’ Common Higher Secondary Level post including Lower Grade Clerk/ Lower Division Clerk and Stenographer under A&N Administration  published  on 21.09.2023, Offer  of  Appointment were issued through Rozgar Mela to 876 selected candidates on 26.09.2023 pertaining to various Departments of A & N Administration, out of which, 453 Lower Grade Clerk and 05 Stenographer (OG) candidates have accepted the  Offer of Appointment and  submitted  their  willingness. The final list of posting of 448 Lower Grade Clerks and 05 Stenographers (OG) candidates has been displayed on the Notice Boards of the Secretariat and can also be downloaded from the websitehttps://karmic.andaman.gov.in.

Port Blair, Oct. 16: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today laid the foundation stone for Construction of a Anganwadi Centre on the Ground Floor and a Multipurpose Hall on the first floor of the same building at Machi Lane, Ward No.10, Port Blair.

The work was sanctioned under MPLADS fund with an estimated cost of Rs. 39,94.660.

Port Blair, Oct. 16: An Environment Awareness Rally was organised to celebrate the 92nd Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on 16th October 2023. The Rally was jointly organised by JNRM and Lions Club Port Blair.

The main Function was organised at the Old Flag Point opposite to Andaman Club, Netaji Stadium. The President MJF Lion Rajaguru.T and other members of Lion Club and the Chief Guest of the Programme Dr. H.K. Sharma, Principal JNRM paid floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The Chief Guest in his address spoke on the life and contribution of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as a Great Scientist and also the President of India.
