Port Blair, Jan 27: It is informed to the general public that on 21/01/2023, a person namely Saroj Singh (49) yrs old was found dead at Delanipur Junction. In this regard, an UDFIR No. 03/23 dated 20/01/2023 U/s 174 CrPC has been registered at PS Chatham and the case is being investigated. During the course of the investigation, the details of the deceased's family members could not be traced. The dead body of Saroj Singh is preserved for identification and claim in the cold Mortuary room of GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. The description of the deceased body is as follows:

Port Blair, Jan 27: IGNOU has launched MA. Environmental studies programme from January 2023 session. This programme aims to generate awareness on a wide variety of environmental concerns. In line with NEP-2022, the programme will be offered with modular approach. The learners after completing the first year course of study will be eligible to receive Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies. The programme will have lateral entry & exit. After completing the programme, learners will be able to play decisive roles in addressing the environmental and sustainability concerns in India and across the world.

The awards were announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the eve of the Republic Day, 2023.

Some important issues like Sea and Air connectivity, Job reservation for ST, Opening up of Central or Sainik School, Implementation of Price Support Scheme, Relaxation of DG Shipping order for Cargo Vessels of over 25 years and waiving of old loan of all 15 Primary Society and the Apex Society.
