Port Blair, March 22: The District Health Society attached with District Administration, South Andaman have been conducting a series of events to spread awareness and to overcome stigma on the theme “Invest to End TB. Save Lives” in connection with World TB Day under National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).

Port Blair, Mar. 22: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 364passengers who arrived here yesterday, one positive case has been detected. Today, 4 flights with 313passengers arrived, out of which, 284passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 21 passengers and the reports are awaited.   

Port Blair, March 22: The vessel MV Bharat Seema will sail for Diglipur via Mayabunder on 27.03.2022 (Sun) at 1700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on 28.03.2022 (Mon) at 1400 Hrs from Diglipur via Mayabunder. Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued from 25.03.2022 onwards at Stars Ticketing Counters.

Port Blair, Mar. 22: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,09,392 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,276 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18yrs and 1518beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 9651.

Port Blair, March 22: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Campbell Bay via Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 30.03.2022 (Wed) at 1700 Hrs from Haddo/Chatham Wharf and will sail for Port Blair immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports. Booking of cargo for the above sailing will commence from 24.03.2022 onwards between  0900 Hrs & 1300 Hrs at Commercial Wing. All the consigners are advised to book actual quantity of cargo to be transshipped, as no excess cargo will be allowed.
