Port Blair, Nov. 3: An induction meeting for the newly enrolled learners –July 2022 session of Indira Gandhi National Open University of Study Centre (0201), Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, Port Blair will be conducted on Nov. 6, 2022 at 10 am in JNRM, Port Blair. All newly enrolled learners have been advised to attend the meeting.

Port Blair, Nov. 3: Due to technical reasons, the scheduled sailing programme of the vessel Sindhu for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on Nov. 4, 2022 at 1000 hrs from Port Blair and her return voyage from Campbell Bay to Port Blair on Nov. 6, 2022 has been postponed till further notice. However, fresh date of sailing of the vessel will be announced in due course.

Port Blair, Nov. 2: On 01/11/2022, a meeting under the chairmanship of Shri. Ajay Kr. Rai, DANIPS (Dy. SP Traffic) was conducted with the Auto Union leaders & members. At the outset, DySP Traffic directed them to abide by the traffic rules & to keep good conduct with the passengers. They were directed to refrain from drunken driving and they were also apprised about the aftermath of road accidents caused due to drunken driving on the victim & offender’s family. Their grievances were also heard, and remedies were provided. More than 20 representatives of various auto unions were present.
