Port Blair, Oct. 31: Islands’ young chess player, R Kashthuri Bhai, a class VIII student of GDMS Middle Point, Port Blair has shown again in an international FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament 2022 that was held at Jerusalem College of Engineering, Chennai, Tamil Nādu from 29th to 30th October 2022. She played brilliantly and secured second position in Under 14 Girls category and award with a trophy and certificate.

On the occasion, an exemplary ceremonial March Past by 07 Police contingents comprising of Executive Police 02 platoons each of Gents & Ladies, IRBn, Fire Service, Home Guard and 02 platoons of A&N Police Band was presented from Dugong Guest House (PBMC) to Government Press, Port Blair in the evening at 1600 hrs.
