Port Blair, Oct. 14: A total of 4,62,189 doses of vaccines have been administered so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,71,609 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date. A total of 1487 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has deeply mourned the demise of Smti. Branti Devi, age 69 years, Mother of Shri Ajay Anand (PSO to MP), who expired on 13/10/21 at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for enough strength for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Oct. 13: Condemning the move taken by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration in the matter of online/walk-in-interview for contractual appointment, the ANTCC President, Shri Ranglal Halder and the Chairman, Campaign Committee of ANTCC, Shri G Bhaskar today observed that the move is against the interest of unemployed youth of A&N Islands.

Discusses Potentials of Future Projects and Places Burning Issues of Islanders before LG
Port Blair, Oct. 13: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today called on the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) and discussed burning issues of the islanders apart from discussing the ongoing projects in the Islands.
During the meeting with the Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament demanded filling up all vacant posts in Andaman & Nicobar Administration immediately, restricting it to only local candidates.
