Port Blair, Feb 2: Students appearing in AISSCE & AISSE, 2024 may sometimes undergo mental stress and psychological pressure. The students appearing for AISSE, 2024 for the first time especially, may be more vulnerable to stress and strain. In this context, the Directorate of Education in collaboration with the Officials of ANIIMS/Health Department has constituted a Committee comprising of the following members to provide assistance to all needy children to mitigate their mental stress and psychological pressure. The students can dial the numbers to seek redressal for their problems.

Port Blair, Feb 2: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in collaboration with HumaneTouch NGO successfully organized a one-day awareness training program on Mental Health and Moral Values and Ethics for trainees at DIET, Garacharma. The event took place on January 31, 2024, commencing at 9:30 am at the DIET Auditorium.

The program commenced with a warm welcome extended by Smti. Sheela Devi, faculty at DIET, embracing all the attendees with a spirit of openness and learning. Following the welcome address, Mr. M Nehru, Principal of DIET, graced the gathering with his insightful thoughts and encouragement.
