Port Blair, June 2: All India Chess Federation and Arbiter Commission of AICF organized an online Senior National Arbiter Seminar and Examination for Indian Diaspora, North Eastern States and Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 26th and 27th May 2023.

Port Blair, June 3: The Andaman & Nicobar Muaythai team has won 9 medals in the Muaythai nationals held in Chennai from 25 to 30 May.  The Islands’ team won one gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze. More than 1000 athletes from across 28 states of the country had competed in the event.

Diglipur, June 3: Continuing its crackdown on the illicit ganja, illicit liquor, Handia, & illegal sale of IMFL, the District Police of North & Middle Andaman with the help of local informers conducted regular raids and searches in jungles. During the month of May-2023, the teams of various Police Stations, headed by SHOs and Sub-Inspectors conducted raids & massive jungle search operation.
