Port Blair, Oct. 12: The MPL 48th National Senior Women Chess Championship–2022 will be organized by All India Chess Federation, supported by Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of India from November 8 to 18, 2022 at Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Each Affiliated State Association is entitled to send four entries for the Championship. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to arrange to supply 24 hour electricity in Hanspuri area of North & Middle Andaman. Port Blair, Oct. 12: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Campbell Bay via Swaraj Dweep, Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 17.10.2022 at 0900 Hrs from Haddo/Chatham Wharf and will sail for Port Blair immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports. Booking of cargo for the above sailing will commence from 13.10.2022 onwards between 0900 Hrs & 1300 Hrs at Commercial Wing.

Port Blair, Oct. 11: The A&N Island contingent today added one more medal in its medal tally when Star Kayak from these Islands, Ms. Rajina Kiro won bronze medal in the ongoing 36th National Games-2022 at Gujarat/New Delhi. Rajina Kiro won Bronze medal in the 200 mtrs Kayaking-1.
