Port Blair, Oct. 17: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 16^th October 2023, laid foundation stone for construction of an open shed covering hollow block (3 mts height and MS Grill) for vegetable market and fruits vending adjoining to the existing vegetable market at Bhatu Basthi, Ward No. 19, under 17^th Lok Sabha MPLAD Scheme.

The work with an estimated cost Rs.22,00,000 was sanctioned by the Member of Parliament following demands raised by a large number of people.
