Port Blair, April 29: The passengers have been informed that due to administrative reasons, the scheduled departure timing of the vessel Nalanda from Diglipur to Port Blair via Mayabunder on 01.05.2024 at 1030 hrs has been postponed. Now, the vessel will sail for Port Blair on the same day i.e. on 01.05.2024 at 1530 hrs instead of 1030 hrs from Diglipur. Similarly, the vessel will sail from Mayabunder to Port Blair at 2100 hrs instead of 1400 hrs.

Port Blair, April 28: The Andaman Nicobar Chemist & Druggist Association (ANCDA) have expressed deep concern over the Central Government's proposal to permit the sale of Over-The-Counter (OTC) drugs without a license in India.

ANCDA President, Vivek Kumar Misra, and General Secretary, PK Anish emphasized that such a move would contravene existing drug laws, pharmacy regulations, and pertinent legal frameworks, including directives from the Honorable Supreme Court.

Digliur, April 28: As per the direction of the Chairman, District Health Society, N & M Andaman, the Community Health Centre, Diglipur in coordination with the Forest Department and District Health Society Unit, NMA organised a multi-speciality outreach RCH Health Camp at one of the remotest area/village, Gopalnagar 2 under Diglipur zone yesterday.

Dr. Arnold (Pain Specialist), Dr. Shipra Mistry (MO Ayurveda), Dr. Rahim (MO Homeo), Dr. Diksha (MO Dental) along with the other field staff from CHC Diglipur conducted the outreach camp. A large number of people including children and elderly persons availed the benefits of this health camp.
