Organized by Gram Panchayat, Neil Kendra, Shaheed Dweep, the Mela was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Secretary (Fisheries/IP&T/Art & Culture), Smt. Jyoti Kumari, IAS and officers of A&N Administration, local PRI Members, excited residents of the Island and curious visitors.

The walk began at Girls School Junction and passed through Flag Point, Goodwill Estate, Hornbill Resort, ANIIMS Campus, and the Shrine of Allama Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi, ending at Corbyn’s Cove.
