Hyderabad, Sept. 12: Fourth Andaman Tourism Roadshow were held at Hotel Abode, Hyderabad on 11th of September 2023 organised by Andaman Association of Tour Operators, under the leadership of its President, Shri M. Vinod. The road shows were supported by Tour Operators Association of Telangana and Tours and Travel Agents Association of Telangana.

The Andaman Tourism Roadshow was organised by Dream Journey Holidays in association with the above organisations and was supported by Singh Hotels, Makruzz, Nautika and Aquays Hotels & Resorts. Around 80 members of TTAT and TOAT, Hyderabad participated in the event.

Port Blair, Sept. 12: Adding to its basic tenet of highest respect to patient care and satisfaction, ANIIMS has started implementing Patient Feedback System in GB Pant Hospital. The QR system has been installed throughout the hospital wherein all the patients using any services in ANIIMS can simply scan the QR code using their smartphone and share their valuable feedback and suggestions regarding the care, availability of services, behaviour of staff and overall cleanliness in the hospital. The valuable input from patients will help ANIIMS in improving the services and ensure the highest quality of care in the Hospital.

Veditha Reddy, IAS, Secretary, Department of Rural Development launched the implementation of Project “Water Security and Climate Adaptation in Rural India (WASCA)” in Andaman and Nicobar Island during the Launch workshop and Training programme held at Directorate of RD, PRIs &ULBs, A&N Administration, Marine Hill.

Diglipur, Sept. 12: To conquer the menace of illicit ganja at North & Middle Andaman District, PS Diglipur once again proved their mettle by ongoing tough against the drug peddlers.

On the basis of credible information received at PS Diglipur that one Nasirudin Sekh is in possession of huge haul of contraband ganja and kept the same in his house situated at Subashgram Ward No.5. Acting swiftly, a raiding team consisting of Inspr. K. Binoj, SHO PS Diglipur, PCs Radhesam Hawlader, Abubacker Siddique, Samresh Mistry, Soma Dey & Mrithunjay Das alongwith two independent witnesses under the supervision of Shri. Brij Mohan Meena, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur conducted raid at the residence of accused person and recovered 1.310 kgs of illicit ganja from the possession of Nasirudin Sekh, S/o Late Amirul Sekh (35) yrs R/o Subashgram Ward No.5.

Port Blair, Sept. 12: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma today laid the foundation for the construction of a CC Road from Rural road to connect to the main road at Ward No.5 Brindaban Panchayat via Al Ameen Public School for a length of 200 mtrs with a width of 5 mtrs under the MPLADS funds. He had sanctioned a total of 26 lakhs for this purpose which was a long pending demand of the people of the area especially the students.
