Port Blair, Aug 25: All concerned candidates who have applied for allotment of various Professional/Technical/Non-Technical courses reserved at mainland institutions for the academic session 2022-23 have been informed that the counselling for the surrendered seats i.e. BDS-1 seat, B.Sc B.Ed-1 seat, B.E (Computer Science) Lateral Entry-1 seat and MBA (Business Administration)-1 seat will be held on 30.08.2023 at 3.30 pm in the Conference Hall of Secretariat, Port Blair.

Port Blair, Aug 25: World Ozone Day is celebrated every year on 16th September commemorating the date on which Montreal Protocol on Substances that deplete the Ozone Layer was signed in 1987. The day is observed with the objective of creating awareness regarding importance of Ozone Layer and India’s commitment to the Montreal Protocol to phase out Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS).

Port Blair, Aug 25: The Science Centre at Goodwill Estate, Corbyn’s Cove Road is organizing a Special 3D show tomorrow (Aug.26) at 5.30 pm & 6.10 pm and a ‘Bubble Show’ from 6.10 pm to 6.45 pm. The bubble show is a fun filled show specially designed for all age group to enjoy with their kids. During the programme, the demonstrator shall prepare varieties of bubbles right from tiny bubble to giant bubble, children’s most favorite Doraemon bubble to cubic bubble, caterpillar bubble, fire bubble & many more. The entry fee for 3D & Bubble Show is Rs. 20/- & Rs.10/- per head respectively.
