Sri Vijaya Puram, March 21: As per Airports Authority of India Operational Circular No. 5 of 2020, commercial activities at airport without permission is a punishable offence with penalty amount of Rs 500/-. It has been observed that some taxi operators (Walk-in) are operating in airport premises with permission from Airports Authority of India. Whereas authorized platform of Pre-paid is already available at Airport Premises and operated A&N Traffic Police.

The Port users can access this software application through URL https://testuat.andaman.gov.in/vms/ and get acquainted with the system.

In order to support ‘Earth Hour’, the Electricity Department has appealed to consumers and general public to join the global initiative by switching of their power intensive equipment's, decorative lights, high mast / flood lights and all other non-essential lights on 22nd March, 2025 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 21: The vessel MV Nalanda which sailed from Chennai is expected to arrive at Sri Vijaya Puram on March 23, 2025 at 0700 hrs. She has on board, 164 passengers, 113 MT Cargo & 10 Containers. On arrival at Sri Vijaya Puram, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.
