Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has deeply mourned the demise of Smti. Anwari Bibi, W/o Late Rahim Baksh (Amu Mistry), Mother of Jamil Baksh and Anwar Baksh, aged 87 years, resident of Dignabad, who expired on 17th Oct 2023 at 5.35 PM at her residence.

The Member of Parliament prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for enough strength for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Sosamma Pappan, aged 89 yrs (Retired Teacher) W/o Late OM Pappan, Resident of Delanipur and Mother of Shri. M.P Arun, Hotel Holiday Inn, Delanipur today (19/10/23) early morning at GB Pant Hospital.

Port Blair, Oct. 18: The Surgery Department in GBPH is conducting some major surgeries on patients that are conducted only in few centers of excellence in the mainland. The Department recently conducted breakthrough surgeries in young patients.  On 22nd July 2023, a 28-year-old male was admitted to GBPH-ANIIMS due to history of fall. The CT scan of head revealed major bleeding in the brain on the back side of the head. He was taken up for an emergency neurosurgical operation on the same day.
