Port Blair, May 3: The foodgrains shall be distributed in advance for 2 months for May, 2023 & June, 2023 in one go in the entire UT in the month of May, 2023. All the Ration Card holders have been informed that they can purchase the foodgrains as per their entitlement for 2 months in May, 2023.

It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that, to create safe corridor for electricity feeders and tie lines, the Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees on 06.05.2023 (Saturday) between 0600 hrs. and1500 hrs., so that the frequent power disruption and electricity faults can be prevented during monsoon season.

Port Blair, May 2: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has sanctioned Rs. 40,00,000 (Forty Lakhs rupees) for construction of an Anganwadi Center and a Multipurpose Hall for Community utilization at Machilane, ward number 10, Port Blair.
The sanction order was handed over to Smti. T Mangayarkarasi Councillor Ward No.10 by the Member of Parliament recently.
