Port Blair, July 23: Applications have been invited from the eligible Fishers/ Fish Farmers/ Fish Workers & Fish Vendors/ Fisheries Development Corporations/ Self Help Groups/ Joint liability Groups in Fisheries sector/ Fisheries Co-operatives/ Fisheries Federation/ Entrepreneurs and Private firms / Fish Farmers Producers Organizations/ Companies/ SCs/STs/Women/ Differently abled persons for availing subsidies under various beneficiary oriented activities of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).

Port Blair, July 23: A firing practice is being carried out by the Aircraft from July 23 to 26, 2024 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Similarly, firing practice will be carried out by the Aircraft from July 24 to 31, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm. All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their vehicles/livestock away from the firing area during mentioned date and time.

Port Blair, July 22: The skies of Andaman & Nicobar Islands are poised for a transformative leap as the Airports Authority of India has signed a landmark Operation & Maintenance Agreement with the Union Territory Administration of Andaman & Nicobar Islands today.

The agreement was signed by Shri Vishwendra, Secretary, Civil Aviation, A&N Administration and Shri N V Subbarayudu, Executive Director-II (JVC/PP) Airports Authority of India. As per this agreement, Airports Authority of India will operate and maintain the airports for five years which can be extended for a further period of five years on mutually agreed terms and conditions. Similar agreement for Shibpur Airport was already signed on 01.09.2023.
