Passenger tickets for Swaraj Dweep will be issued at Haddo Wharf 02 hours prior to her scheduled departure following latest COVID 19 SOP in effect.

Port Blair, Oct. 11: In May 2016 the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG) had introduced the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’ (PMUY) as a flagship scheme with an objective to make clean cooking fuel such as LPG available to the rural and deprived households, which were otherwise using traditional cooking fuels such as firewood, coal, cow-dung cakes etc. Usage of traditional cooking fuels had detrimental impacts on the health of rural women as well as on the environment.

I appeal to the youths of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to come forward and donate blood voluntarily.
These Islands have witnessed a reduction in blood donation during the pandemic and hence I request citizens to donate blood and avoid a possible shortage of blood in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
