Port Blair, Sept. 20: The passengers/general public have been informed that due to insufficient booking of passenger tickets, the vessel MV Swaraj Dweep which was scheduled to sail for Vizag on Sept.22, 2023 at 1000 hrs from Port Blair (and her return voyage on Sept.26, 2023 at 1600 hrs from Vizag to Port Blair has been cancelled. Passengers those who have purchased their tickets for the sailing have been informed to cancel their tickets and get full refund.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands to expedite the issuance of appointment letters to those candidates who have qualified in various recruitment examinations conducted by A & N Administration.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament expressed sincere gratitude for Hon’ble Lt. Governor’s active involvement and steadfast guidance, which have been instrumental in ensuring the successful conduct of several recruitment examinations in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the past six to eight months.

The inauguration of the event was held at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Netaji Stadium on 18/09/23 at 1030 hrs. The Director General Police, Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva inaugurated the event by tossing the coin.
