Port Blair, June 30: During the RTPCR conducted on 177 incoming flight passengers, who arrived here yesterday, ten positive cases have been detected. Today, 12 flights with 1864 passengers arrived, out of which, 1632 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 180 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, June 29: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today inaugurated a CC Road with one culvert at Brindaban Panchayat, constructed under the MPLAD fund.
The project costing about Rs. 8,07,670 had commenced on 16.11.2021 and was completed on 15.01.2022.

Port Blair, June 29 with Late Night Update: The ANTCC President, Shri Ranglal Halder has suspended the Ex-Block President, Shri Ganesh Acharya and Shri Abdul Islam, Councillor, Ward No. 4 from the party for a period of six years. In a release, Halder mentioned that the suspension has been ordered after looking and going through the incident of conflict, which took place today evening at Gandhi Bhavan and the consequences which arose thereafter was really very sad and disheartening to witness.

Port Blair, June 29: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,75,338 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,421 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 11,695 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 1,93,71.
