
Sri Vijaya Puram, April 9: As part of celebrations of ‘World Homoeopathy Day 2026’, a special OPD clinic for children with ‘autism spectrum disorder’ was inaugurated yesterday at Ayush Hospital, Junglighat. The Director of Health Services, Dr. HM Siddaraju, graced the event as the chief guest, while Ms. Sumitamol, Director of CRC, Brookshabad, was present as the guest of honour. Dr. Kalyan P. Kadbhane, Deputy Director (AYUSH), was also present.
In his address, Dr. HM Siddaraju appreciated the initiative taken by Ayush; and urged parents to make maximum use of this special facility. Ms. Sumitamol highlighted the behavioural patterns of children with autism and emphasized the need to increase awareness.
Dr. Supria Arangi, MO (Homoeo), explained in detail the role of Homoeopathy in the treatment of children with autism. Meanwhile, Dr. Manabika Dutta, MO I/c (H), encouraged everyone to actively participate in the various activities being organized by Ayush on the occasion of World Homoeopathy Day.
The special OPD will operate every Wednesday (except Public Holidays) from 8.30 AM to 1.30 PM and from 3 PM to 4 PM, ensuring regular and dedicated medical care for the children affected by autism.
