Sri Vijaya Puram, April 24: The Department of Education and Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, A & N Administration, in collaboration with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA), will be organizing the Open Chess Tournament in the Islands, titled “Andaman-Nicobar Chess Mahasangram 2.0” at Netaji Stadium under Flood Light on 25.04.2026 and 26.04.2026. This time around 800 participants are expected to participate in the mega event.
All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Spectators and Chess enthusiasts have been requested to turn out in large numbers to witness the Chess Mahasangram.
