Blood Donation Camp at Mansha Regency Collects 30 Units of Blood

Sri Vijaya Puram, May 13: A successful Blood Donation Camp was organised today at Mansha Regency, Delanipur, with active participation from volunteers, youth organisations, healthcare workers and members of the public. The humanitarian initiative witnessed an encouraging response and successfully collected 30 units of blood for patients in need.

The camp was organised in collaboration with Andaman Nomads Club (ANC), Navyug, Dreamz Nirvana Trust, Organisation for South & South East Asia Development (OFSSEAD) and other supporting organisations, with medical support and coordination from the concerned healthcare authorities.

The organisers expressed gratitude to all blood donors who came forward voluntarily to contribute towards saving lives and strengthening emergency blood reserves in the islands. The event highlighted the importance of regular blood donation and community participation in public health initiatives.

Special appreciation and heartfelt thanks were extended to Mansha for hosting and supporting the programme, the Forest Department for their encouragement and participation, and the AIDS Control Society for their valuable support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp.

The collaborating organisations also conveyed sincere thanks to the dedicated volunteers and partner organisations including Andaman Nomads Club, Navyug, Dreamz Nirvana Trust and OFSSEAD for their tireless efforts in mobilising donors and making the event a success.

Speaking on the occasion, the organisers stated that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service to humanity, as a single unit of blood can help save multiple lives during emergencies, surgeries and critical medical treatments.

The organisers further reaffirmed their commitment towards conducting more such awareness and humanitarian programmes in the future for the welfare of society and the betterment of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands community.
